The Vietnam Seaports Association (VPA) 2022 Annual Meeting is scheduled to be held at Furama Resort Da Nang on September 21-23, 2022, hosted by Saigon New Port (SNP).
Participants to the VPA Annual Meeting 2022 are directors and key managers from 76 member ports; invited guests include senior officials from the central and local authorities; representatives from other associations and other key stakeholders in the maritime community. Central and local mass media will also be invited to cover the event.
The VPA Annual Meeting is a special event gathering port executives and relevant authorities for assessment and decision on annual plans of actions. Discussion and exchange of experiences on port management, operations, safety, security, digitization, green development, corporate social responsibility … are on the agenda. On this occasion, business promotion activities shall also be embedded to connect and provide the opportunities for the ports and business suppliers inland and from overseas to cooperate and find solutions for more profitable and sustainable development.
Despite difficulties and challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam economy is developing positively under the effective governance and pro-active development policy of the Government. The country is open to new dimensions for development under the new trade promotion FTAs with new opportunities for local and foreign businesses to explore. At the Meeting, business networking and promotion opportunities shall be provided together with exhibition activities and attracting packages to meet the expectation of the event sponsors and interested parties.
In addition to the resort unique facilities and services, the Event’s social and recreational activities including receptions, sport competition, port inspection tour and sight-seeing tours during a two-day program will offer participants enjoyable and memorable stay at the excellent seaside resort of Da Nang City, one of the fast-growing exotic and relaxing tourist attraction sites of Vietnam.
